    The Lovers card is all about choices, looking at it, I can think of 5 aspects to search for in the reading:

    When in need to make a choice, ask The Lovers:

    Card # 1 next to the apple tree, tentation, what about taking this path makes you tingle, something that may make you feel right and wrong.

    Card # 2 next to the tree of life, what about taking this path, gratifies you with passion.

    Card # 3 on top of the angel, what graces you, what believe it or not, keeps you sane.

    Card #4 at the bottom, the root of the volcano. What needs to be kept contained, in control.

    *Feel free to take more than 1 card if you need to clarify positions. I used 2 in all four positions

    Example: I want to participate at a conference and at the same time wonder if I should go.  

    I will take out The Lovers and 1 card, for of the 4 positions.

    What I need to know about going to a Tarot conference:

    Card # 1: The knight of swords:Something about moving fast (maybe between conferences) makes me feel good and mischievous.

    Card # 2 The three of cups, to reunite with people that love Tarot, to, learn and have fun with them is extraordinary and gratifies with me passion.

    Card# 3 What keeps me sane is the 3 of coins, my team, my family, the people that work close to me give me peace.

    Card # 4 What needs to be contained, the 10 of wands, trying to carry too much, many things at once.

    Extra cards for clarification: I will take out 1 more card for each of the 4 positions.

    Card # 1: The knight of swords + The Ace of swords: This combination makes me think and feel that I should embrace the idea of going to the conference instead of feeling guilty or bad about it.

    Card #2 The 3 of cups + The Chariot: This combination screams celebration with advancement.

    Card# 3 The 3 of coins + Strength:This combinationsuggests that I´ve got strong company, a good team of people that is close to me regardless of my decision.

    Card# 4 The 10 of wands + 5 of wands: This combination invites me to delegate, to control my burden, not to overload.

    La carta Los Enamorados, que nos habla de la capacidad de tomar elecciones, nos dará la pauta para pensar en 5 aspectos para indagar en la lectura:

    Cuando necesites tomar una lección pregúntale Los Enamorados:

    Carta # 1 junto al árbol de manzana, me habla de tentación. Algo sobre tomar esta decisión te emociona y a la vez te hace sentir de mal.

    Carta # 2 junto al árbol de la vida, algo sobre esta decisión te llena de pasión.

    Carta # 3 sobre el ángel, esto te mantiene sana y salva, lo que te da paz.

    Carta #4 bajo el volcán, lo que necesitas mantener contenido y controlado.

    *Siente la libertad de sacar una segunda carta como en mi ejemplo en caso de necesitar clarificar la primera.

    Ejemplo: Quiero participar de una conferencia pero me pregunto si deba ir.

    Buscaré la carta de Los Enamorados y sacaré 4 cartas más:


    Lo que necesito saber sobre tomar la decisión de ir a la conferencia:

    Carta # 1: El Caballero de Espadas:Algo sobre avanzar rápidamente (tal vez entre conferencias) me hace sentir bien y a la vez maliciosa.

    Carta # 2 El 3 de Copas, es extraordinario juntarme con personas que al igual que yo aman el tarot para divertirnos aprendiendo. Esto me llena de pasión por lo que hago y me motiva.

    Carta # 3 El 3 de oros, mi equipo, las personas que trabajan junto a mi, mi comunidad me da paz.

    Carta # 4 El 10 de bastos, lo que necesito contener, intento cargar demasiado, hacer muchas cosas a la vez.

    Cartas extra para clarificar:

    Carta # 1: El Caballero de Espadas + el as de Espadas: Esta combinación me hace sentir que debería de acoger la idea de ir a la conferencia en lugar de sentirme mal por querer participar en ella.

    Carta # 2 El 3 de Copas+ El Carro: Esta combinación grita: ¡celebración con avance!

    Carta # 3 El 3 de oros+ La Fuerza:  Esta combinación sugiere muy buena compañía. Un buen equipo de personas que me dan paz.  

    Carta # 4 El 10 de bastos+ el 5 de bastos:Esta combinación me invita a delegar, a controlar mi carga, a no sobre cargarme.

    Sacred Knowledge

    Everything we interpret with Tarot comes from our life experiences; therefore, I consider sacred knowledge the way we grow as we experience live. 

    It is a common mistake to try to comprehend the querent´s situation as if we were part of it, but the truth is that we are not. Only when grow, our own Sacred knowledge will help us give clarity, to answer the querents question as objectively as possible without getting involved or letting our feelings get in the way. 

    Tarot is a fantastic tool to tune in with our life experiences, but it will not work unless we are ready to assume our own responsibility on it. 

    There is no fast or easy way to learn from own experience, it is a process and so is learning Tarot.  Either way, every workshop, book, video, and specially practice with the cards will get you closer to becoming and expert with the cards. 

    There are many spreads, either way, I doubt that only 1 card could tell anyone what they need to know about a specific situation. I find this approach to ambiguous, what about placing at least 3 cards on each position? That will give as a better sense of what is needed only if the querent is aware and ready to take responsibility on the matter. 

    Sacred knowledge is the way in which me feel whatever is going on once we have the maturity or emotional intelligence to deal with it. Only when we are in the process of finding clarity in our own life experiences, will we be able to help other find clarity as well. 

    The power of Tarot comes from within, our interpretation of the cards is nothing but an extension of ourselves, use this tool wisely.

    Todo lo que interpretamos con Tarot proviene de nuestras experiencias de vida; por lo tanto, considero conocimiento sagrado la forma en que crecemos a medida que la vamos experimentando.

    Es un error común intentar comprender la situación del consultante como si fuéramos parte de ella, pero la verdad es que no lo somos. Solo le podremos dar claridad a nuestros consultantes cuando crezcamos, a través de nuestro propio conocimiento para lograr responder sus consultas de la manera más objetiva posible sin involucrarnos o dejar que nuestros sentimientos se interpongan en el camino.

    El tarot es una herramienta fantástica para conectar con nuestras experiencias de vida, pero no funcionará a menos que estemos en asumir nuestra responsabilidad ante la situación que queremso aclarar. 

    No existe una manera rápida o fácil de aprender de nuestras propias experiencias; esto es un proceso y también lo es el aprender Tarot. De cualquier manera, cada taller, libro, video y especialmente práctica con cartas nos acercará a convertirnosen un experto con ellas. 

    Hay muchos tipos de lecuras, de cualquier manera, dudo que solo una carta nos pueda decir lo que necesitamos saber sobre una situación en específico. En realidad, encuentro este enfoque algo ambiguo, ¿Qué tal si mejor colocamos por lo menos 3 cartas en cada posición? Eso nos dará una mejor idea de lo que se necesitaentender el consultante sobre la situación para tomar consciencia siempre y cuando este listo para asumir la responsabilidad del asunto.

    El conocimiento sagrado es la forma en que sentimos lo que estamos viviendo cuando tenemos la madurez o la inteligencia emocional para enfrentarlo y asumir nuestra responsabilidad en ello. Solo cuando estemos en el proceso de encontrar claridad en nuestras propias experiencias de vida, seremos capaces de ayudar a otros a encontrar la claridad que buscan.

    El poder del Tarot viene de adentro, nuestra interpretación de las cartas no es más que una extensión de nosotros mismos, usa esta herramienta con sabiduría.

    Mis lecturas de tarot dieron un gran paso cuando decidí conectarme con el simbolismo de las cartas en lugar de intentar memorizar cada una de ellas. Lo que finalmente me liberó de dudas a la hora de interpretarlas fue entender la razón del mensaje que llevan consigo.

    Esto se volvió más fácil a medida que adquiría diferentes barajas ya que así me fue más evidente reconocer el simbolismo que tenían cada una de ellas en común.

    Lograrás dominar la baraja cuando te conectes con los símbolos de las cartas y el significado que llevan.

    Lo que me llevó a mi máximo potencial como tarotista, fue el dejar de preocuparme por atinarle o no a algo.  Esto quiere decir que una vez que comencé a interpretar las cartas sin importarme lo extraño, vergonzoso,  o fuera de contexto que me pudiera parecer el mensaje, logré una excelente conexión con ellas y con el consultante. 

    Debo de admitir que al comienzo de mi experiencia como tarotista, mi razón, creencias y sentido de la moral se interponían en el camino de mi intuición, pero una vez que acepté el mensaje que las cartas tenían para mí con la mente abierta fue cuando realmente logré conectarme con ellas. 

    Más de una vez me han hecho consultas que mi mente consciente ha estado convencida de que no pueden ser lógicamente posibles. Pero cuando finalmente eché las cartas y dejé que hagan su trabajo, me quedé impresionada del resultado y me convencí de que con el tarot no hay espacio para la razón. 

    Recuerda esto, el tarot no se trata de atinarle a algo, sino simplemente de confiar y ser capaces de comunicar el mensaje que las cartas nos brindan sin dudarlo.

    A media que madures, también lo harán tus habilidades como tarotista. Irás aprendiendo cosas distintas de diferentes lugares y personas, e irás adoptando y dejando distintos estilos hasta que crees el tuyo propio. Confía cuando  te digo que ninguna lectura de tarot será igual, ni siquiera la manera en la que mezcles las cartas será la misma para siempre. 

    Sé libre y deja que este juego de cartas te lleve a donde nunca soñaste.

    My tarot readings took a giant step when:   

    I decided to connect with each card’s symbolism instead of trying to memorize them all. What finally freed me from doubting myself was understanding the reason why each card carried a specific message. 

    This actually became easier as I acquired different decks because I was then able to pinpoint what hat they all had in common.

    When you connect the symbols of the cards with the meaning of their messages, is when you become free to read confidently .

    What drove me to my highest potential as a tarot reader was to stop worrying about whether what I was interpreting from the  cards was right or not. That meant that once I started to interpret  them no matter how bizarre, embarrassing, or out of context the message seemed to be, was when I finally got querentes to clap and say, «That is damn right!»

    I must admit that, at the beginning of my tarot experience, my reasoning and my beliefs used to get in the way, but once I became free to accept whatever the cards had to say, my intuition bloomed.

    More than once querents asked things that my mind was convinced could not happen, but when I let my mind go and got the cards to do their job, I was delighted and laughed at myself for not knowing better.

    Remember, this is not about guessing something, but about trusting what the cards indicate and being able to communicate it unhesitatingly because the tarot is always right — no doubt about it!

    As you mature, so will your tarot skills and as you learn different things from different places  you will start picking up and dropping styles until you find your own. Believe me, every tarot reading will be different; not even the way you shuffle the cards will be consistent.
